Private Tutoring

BrainStorm Tutoring, LLC provides one-on-one, in-home tutoring & coaching in every school subject for every age, grades K-College. This includes reading skills, grammar, foreign languages, maths & sciences, and all standardized tests (NJ ASK, COOP, SSAT, SAT/ACT, AP, GRE, GMAT, etc). We also give lessons in musical instruments like piano, guitar, and drums, and in college application preparation.

BrainStorm students are of every age: from age 4 (reading) to age 73 (Spanish), and almost every age in between! We encourage all our peers to be lifelong learners.

The fee for BrainStorm tutors is fluid, depending on such variables as tutor pedigree, session frequency & longevity, referrals, and payment punctuality. For the vast majority of our tutors, the rate falls in the $70-90/hour window. Also, generous discounts are consistently given to any client who recommends friends/colleagues who later become fellow BrainStorm clients.

If you need personalized, private instruction, one-on-one tutoring might be for you. In this setting, a mentor comes to your home at a time of your choice for a lesson tailored to your needs.

Group tutoring takes place at our Learning & Arts Center and usually consists  of 4 to 7 people.  This is the choice for students who learn by discussion and teamwork, and who want to build relationships with other students.  Please refer to our schedule at the Tutoring and Arts Center.
