Most of us take zero for granted. But stop and think about it for a minute. Without zero, much of our technology would not be possible.

Zero is fundamental in calculus and instrumental in physics, engineering, and much more. Have you ever thought about where it originated?

Though research suggests that Mayan and Babylonian civilizations had a concept of zero, the first recorded instance of zero as a circle comes from 3rd or 4th century India.
