
The College Board, the group that administers the SAT, has released plans to assign scores that reflect the social and economic background of students.
Called the “Environmental Context Dashboard”, the system measures factors such as poverty levels and crime rate in the student’s neighborhood. The plan reflects the College Board’s effort to capture student’s “resourcefulness to overcome challenges and achieve more with less.”
