QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS

Your BrainStorm academic mentor will be capable of any of the above. If your child is enrolled in the school and you'd like our help with school work or creative supplementation or both, we can do it.

If you are disenrolling your children and prefer a homeschooling experience instead, we can spearhead that for you as well.

We can accommodate any size group of students.

Not necessarily. If that's how the group has organized itself, great. If they're mixing ages, that's ok, too. We give families the maximum flexibility possible.

In cases where the ages are wildly distinct, we will discuss creative ways to make it work.

Through weekly check-ins, parents will have the opportunity to discuss progress with their appointed educational consultant.

During the first several weeks, interactions will be significant and addressed on a case-by-case basis as plans are made & the system is designed.

Once the group is off to the races & the parents have been equipped to lead, weekly check-ins will settle into a once- or twice-weekly rhythm, as needed.

Each microschool is unique, so each solution will be uniquely suited to match.

The requests can vary from "just the core 4" to "please help with nutrition, phys ed, music, & art" to "please go above and beyond the school curriculum by leading nature studies, geography, foreign language, coding, etc.".

We can help design all elements of the school-at-home/ microschool experience. That includes everything from making the physical space conducive to learning, to organizing a structured schedule & workflow, to identifying resources and strategies for engagement.

Tutors may reserve the right to wear masks for all in-person sessions. Client and tutor will discuss the plan for maintaining a safe environment for their in-home sessions, based on the applicable state and local guidelines (subject to change) and the setup of the home as well as the comfort level of both tutor and client.
