ADHD and Anxiety: What You Need to Know
Anxiety is common in kids with ADHD. Many of the challenges that come with ADHD can make kids anxious. Kids with ADHD are also more likely to have an anxiety disorder than other kids.
It can be hard to tell whether a child has ADHD or anxiety because there’s so much overlap in how they look in kids. In this article, you’ll learn what you need to know about ADHD and anxiety—and what you can do to help your child.
Special Needs Tutoring
BrainStorm’s Specialized Academic Coaching (SAC) is an educational solution designed for students with learning or mental health difficulties which are impacting their confidence and ability to succeed.
We tutor students with conditions including, but not limited to: ADHD and ADD, Executive Functioning Issues, Autism Spectrum, Processing Disorders, Anxiety, and Dyslexia.
Our SAC mentors are professionals with experience and knowledge in mental health, special education, and specific learning disability fields. By partnering with the student and incorporating BrainStorm’s core values of customization, relationship, and enthusiasm, we empower your child with the strategies and skills necessary to conquer his or her unique challenges.
SAC can provide you with the right supports and interventions in order for your student to succeed in school and in life.
