Free Seminar – Understanding IEPs and 504 Plans
Join us at the Learning & Arta Center on Wednesday, April 24 for a special seminar, “Understanding IEPs and 504 Plans”. This free seminar is presented in conjunction with the Behaved Brain Center.
Speaker Jen Mayo, PsyD, from the Behaved Brain Center will explain the difference between IEPs and 504 plans and help you to understand the process of requesting an evaluation.
She will also answer some commonly asked questions about whether your child will receive the same accommodations at a private school vs. a public school, what to expect as your child transitions from elementary to middle school, and middle school into high school, and whether or not their accommodations follow them into their college years.
IEPs vs Service Plans
